Systems must work
Our equipment stood in hospitals. That is the standard we apply to software: production is the only environment that counts.
About Nedax
Nedax is a family company from Sarajevo that has reinvented itself twice - from electronics service, to medical equipment distribution, to enterprise software - without ever changing what it fundamentally does: making critical systems work.
Our story
My grandfather Nedžad establishes Elektronik, a general electronics service, installing and repairing equipment across the region from Ljubljana to Skopje. The move into medical equipment comes later, with Nedax.
After the war, Nedžad founds Nedax d.o.o. as a representative and distributor of medical equipment. It becomes the first company to deliver a World Bank project in the country, 37 community rehabilitation centers, alongside the RRC Fojnica rehabilitation center the same year.
Nedax serves as general representative and distributor for KLAFS, Chinesport, Gima, Nihon Kohden, Enraf-Nonius, and other international manufacturers, and delivers three Japanese government grant projects. Over 190 healthcare institutions across the region rely on equipment we supplied and serviced.
Leadership passes to my father, Ermin. Eleven years of steady stewardship: no debts, no unfinished obligations, and a reputation for showing up when equipment had to work.
Pandemic-era supply chains made it impossible to guarantee the distribution standard the name was built on. Rather than compromise it, the company leaves distribution and commits fully to software.
Today I lead Nedax as its third-generation director, from the same city, under the same name. We build and run business systems on Odoo for distributors and service companies, with projects live in the US market since 2018.
“A company is not a logo or a name. It is the people who put their time, sweat, tears, and laughter into building something incredible.”
- Nedžad, my grandfather, who founded the company in 1982
How we work
Our equipment stood in hospitals. That is the standard we apply to software: production is the only environment that counts.
Decades of tenders and grant projects taught us that the proposal is the product. We would rather lose an engagement than win it with a number we do not believe.
Distribution taught us that the sale is the beginning. Service was our differentiator then; support is our differentiator now.
I am the third generation to lead Nedax. My grandfather Nedžad set the standard, my father Ermin kept it, and my work is to carry it into the systems we build today.
